Thank you for visiting this webpage. In it, you will find personal information about me and information about the Department of Political Science and The University of Texas at El Paso. For the last few years, I have been dedicated to being an educator of and a mentor and guide to UTEP students of both El Paso and Ciudad Juárez. In addition, I have dedicated considerable time to serving the border community in various activities from media political analysis to managing political campaigns to contributing to non-profit organizations. Finally, I have invested time and energy in researching and writing about the United States-Mexico border in order to produce concrete narratives that can help enlighten our understanding of the milieu in which we live and move and have our being. Gracias por su visita. En esta página, usted encontrará información sobre mi persona y mis intereses y sobre la Facultad de Ciencias Políticas y la Universidad de Texas en El Paso. En los años próximos pasados, me he dedicado a servir como mentor y guía de muchos estudiantes en El Paso y Ciudad Juárez. He dedicado gran parte de mi tiempo también a servir a nuestra comunidad binacional en la región fronteriza Paso del Norte como analista político en los medios de comunicación, como coordinador de campañas políticas, y como colaborador en organizaciones no lucrativas. Además he dedicado tiempo y energía al trabajo de investigación y a escribir sobre el tema de las relaciones México-Estados Unidos y nuestra frontera, para producir narrativas concretas que puedan contribuir a elucidar nuestro entendimiento del medio ambiente en el que vivimos y nos movemos y donde existimos.
